Tyler Wood, DDS, MSD
Dr. Wood became fascinated with the world of orthodontics after receiving his own braces as a teenager. He continued to develop his love for dentistry as a dental assistant while working on his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. Attending dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Wood served as class secretary and volunteered to help those in need with Missions of Mercy and a humanitarian trip to Jamaica, providing treatment to anyone without access to dental care.
After graduating, Dr. Wood took a one year AEGD residency in general dentistry, and was later accepted into orthodontic residency at IUPUI in Indiana. He worked on completing his residency and master’s degree where his thesis was focused on the use of AI to predict mandibular growth.
Dr. Wood has loved living and working in Colorado and is excited to be able to provide his own personalized care within the community at Wood Orthodontics

Outside the Office
Dr. Wood grew up singing in choir and playing the trombone, and still takes time to sing when he gets the chance to. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys as well as his friends, and is a big fan of board games, audio books, and ATV rides. He loves traveling with his wife so make sure to ask him about their most recent adventures!
